Save as Template

The Broadcast page provides a Save as Template feature to create a library of pre-defined options that could be re-used for future broadcasts. Use these templates to ensure every broadcast is repeatable, consistent, and error-free.

Use the 'Save as template' button to create templates.

 

Create a new template

To create a new template, perform the following:

 

  1. Select a broadcast type.
  2. Configure the settings for the broadcast
  3. Click the Save as template button.
  4. On the Save template popup, specify a unique template name.
     
  5. Afterwards, perform one of the following:

    • Save
      Saves the template in your My templates library, and returns to the broadcast screen. This action does not start the broadcast.
       
    • Save and send
      Saves the template in your My templates library, starts the broadcast, and returns to the broadcast screen.
       
    • Cancel
      Immediately returns to the broadcast screen. This action does not start the broadcast.

My templates

The template is now listed on the My templates section of the broadcast screen. To manage the templates:

 

  • Use the  Search bar to find templates by name.
  • Click on a template tile to load the broadcast type screen with the saved settings.  Afterwards, perform one of the following:
    • Click Send broadcast   to broadcast the content immediately, or
    • Make any adjustments to the content before broadcasting.

 

To delete a template: 

  1. Locate the template tile to delete.
  2. Click the  More icon on the tile 
  3. Click the  Delete icon from the dropdown.
