Add Class

Use the My Class page to create and manage classes for your students. Choose from multiple joining options, including Google Sign-In, Guest Mode, or rostering platforms like Google Classroom or ClassLink.

Add a New Class

To add a class, follow these steps:

1. Navigate to the My Class page.
2. Click Add Class.
3. Decide how students will join the class:
   1. Google Sign-In: Students log in with their Google accounts.
   2. Guest Mode: Students join without logging in.
   3. Rostering Platform: Available for paid customers using ClassLink or Google Classroom.

Invite students to class

The following options are available:

with Google Sign-In

Use this option if students will log in using their Google accounts.

1. Click Add Class. 
2. Provide the class details (e.g., Class Name, Number of Students).
3. Under Require Students to Sign In, select Google.

   Ensure all students have active Google email addresses.

4. Click Add to create the class.
5. Open the newly created class. 
   
   
6. Click Invite Student.to open a pop-up:
   1. Share the link displayed in the pop-up with your students.
   2. Students click the link and log in with their Google accounts to join the class.

When using this method, the My Class section will display the following view:

in Guest Mode

Use this option for quick, one-time sessions where no login is required.

1. Click Add Class. 
2. Provide the class details (e.g., Class Name, Number of Students).
3. Under Require Students to Sign In, select Guest Mode.
4. Share the provided link with students. They can join instantly without logging in.

When using this method, the My Class section will display the following view:

via Google Classroom Rostering

Use Google Classroom to roster students directly.
