Download & install Companion

Users can download and install the companion app via the App store of their mobile device, or through the myviewboard.com website.

Device requirements

Before installing the Companion app, verify that your mobile device meets the necessary technical and system requirements.

• Android devices must be running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher.
• Apple devices must be running iOS 9 or higher.

The following requirements are mandatory for specific application functions:

• To use the Throw feature, you must allow permissions for camera and file access.
• Android devices must not be in Battery-Saver or Power-Saver mode to allow Companion to function properly.

Download options

Users have several methods to download the Companion app.

via the app store

You can download the Companion app directly from your mobile device's designated app store. To download and install the app, perform the following:

1. On your mobile device, launch the store of your respective platform: 
   • Google Play 
   • Apple App Store
      
2. Search for myViewBoard Companion.
3. Install the app.

After installation is done, sign in to your ViewSonic account. Signing in with your ViewSonic account unlocks access to all features of the app.

Alternatively, you can access direct download links from the myViewBoard website. To download the app via the website, perform the following on your target mobile device:

1. Use the browser of your target mobile device to visit myViewBoard.com.
   1. Scroll down to the Download section.
   2. Locate the Companion download button.
       
2. Click the download button for your target platform:
   • Google Play 
   • Apple App Store
      
3. When prompted, open your device's app store.
4. Click the install button.
5. Wait for the installation to complete.

After installation is done, sign in to your ViewSonic account. Signing in with your ViewSonic account unlocks access to all features of the app.
