Lesson history

The Lesson History page in myViewBoard Hub (Reports) provides teachers with a record of past lessons conducted for a selected class, including quizzes pushed, attendance, and post-lesson performance reports. Teachers can review attendance, task activity, question-level results, and AI-generated insights for each individual session.

Session details

Click View to review details about the selected session. These sessions are organized into several tabs.

Lesson Overview

Opening a lesson defaults to the Lesson Overview tab, which summarizes performance for that session.

Main metrics, shown as summary cards at the top:

  • Attendance: Number of students who checked in, out of the total roster.
  • Class Submission Rate: Average percentage of pushed tasks/questions submitted by the class.
  • Class Accuracy: Average accuracy across all graded responses.

Below the summary cards, the Participants table lists each student on the roster:

Column Description
No. Participant number
Display Name Student or guest display name
Attendance Checked in (✓) or not checked in (✗)
Submission Rate Percentage of tasks/questions the student submitted
Accuracy Percentage of correct responses
Point Points earned during the lesson
Note Custom note for the participant (editable)

Columns marked with sort arrows (↕) can be sorted in ascending or descending order.

Attendance List

The Attendance List tab provides an attendance-focused view of the roster for the session.

The Task Record tab lists non-quiz content (tasks) pushed during the lesson.

Push Number of times the task was pushed
Submission Count Number of submissions received

Use the search bar to find a specific task by name, and the Sort dropdown to reorder the list. If no tasks were pushed, the table displays an empty state.

Use the Sort dropdown to reorder questions, and the pagination controls to move between pages of results. Click View Results on any question to open its detail view.

Question Detail View

Opened from View Results, this view shows individual response data for one question:

  • Answered / No Answer counts: Total students who did and didn't respond.
  • View toggle: Switch between a list view and a time-based view of responses.
  • Respondent list: Names and IDs of students grouped under Answered or No Answer.

Insight Result

The Insight Result tab (AI-powered, "Powered by ChirpAI") automatically analyzes lesson data and surfaces performance insights.

  • When enough data is available, this tab displays AI-generated insights for the session. (Not shown when a lesson has no or minimal submitted data.)
  • If the lesson doesn't have enough data, the tab shows an empty state: "Seems that this lesson doesn't have sufficient data to generate insights. Please select a different lesson and try again," along with a Select other lessons button.
