Quiz collection

The Quiz collection section on myViewBoard Hub allows teachers to access quizzes imported and created using the Quizzing tool feature in the myViewBoard app. This integration ensures that any quiz saved in the app automatically appears on the Hub for streamlined lesson planning.

What is a Quiz?

A Quiz is a set of interactive questions that a teacher dispatches to students in real time during class to check for understanding. These questions are accessible via the Quizzing Tool in myViewBoard and are designed to give teachers an immediate view of whole-class comprehension so they can adjust instruction on the spot, compared to game-based tools that emphasize competition and scoring. 

To add questions to a Quiz, perform one of the following: 

• Use the Quizzing tool in the myViewBoard app
• Import questions using the myViewBoard Hub

Once the questions are available on the myViewBoard Hub, these can be accessed in the Quiz Collection section and can now be organized into Quizzes that can be used repeatedly.

Access Quiz Collection

To access and view your saved quizzes, follow these steps:

1. Log in to myViewBoard Hub.
2. Select Library > Quiz collection from the left sidebar.
3. The Home folder is set as the default location. Use the filters at the top to refine your view:
   1. Tag Availability 
      Filter by tags (e.g., your own content or AI-generated).
   2. Question Type 
      Choose the quiz format (e.g., Multiple Choice or True/False).
   3. Keywords 
      Filter by specific keywords.
4. View your questions as cards displayed in the main area, organized under the Folder List on the left.

Folder List & Quiz Cards

The Quiz Collection interface includes the following elements:

Folder List

Organizes questions into folders. Click on a folder to view the questions inside. Available options include:

• Captured Questions 
  Questions created during a live classroom session are saved here. 
  Questions will expire (auto-deleted) after 30 days, unless moved to a folder. 
  Use the Question Type dropdown to show only specific types of questions.
   
• Home 
  The Home folder is set as the default location. 
  Use the filters at the top to easily find your target question. 
  If the list is empty, click the Upload a quiz link to add content.
   
• New Folder  
  Click the + New Folder link to create a new folder. 
  Folder names must be unique and must not exceed 50 characters.

Quiz Cards 

Each card contains:

1. Quiz content.
2. Category label (e.g., History, Science).
3. Question type (e.g., Multiple Choice or True/False).

Note the following behavior:

• Questions created in the myViewBoard app appear instantly in Quiz Collection on the Hub under your account.
• The Quiz Collection feature syncs automatically with quizzes created using the Quizzing tool in the myViewBoard app. This includes all screenshot-based quizzes created from lesson materials.
