Questions overview

Once students have joined, teachers can now use the Quiz Tool to send a question. Perform one of the options below to send a question.

Create a single question by selecting content on myViewBoard (PPT, PDF, handwriting, images) and taking a screenshot. These are best suited for in-class, on-the-fly moments. Supported question types are listed below:

 

Type Description
True / False

Submit either a T or F response. 
After the quiz:

  • Displays the correct answer 
  • Displays whether the response is correct
Multiple Choice

Choose from 2-6 numbered or lettered options. 
Supports single or multiple-select responses. 
After the quiz:

  • Displays the correct answer 
  • Displays whether the response is correct
Poll Choose from the options provided. 
Displays the response distribution after the quiz.
Short Answer Submit a free-text response.
After the quiz, tap to expand each answer.
Sketch Response Submit a hand-drawn response.
After the quiz, tap to reveal each sketch.
Audio Submit a recorded audio response.
After the quiz, tap to begin audio playback.

 

For question types that require answer options, the Quiz Tool handles correct answer configuration via the following workflow:

  • The Multiple Choice and Poll types will require answer options to be configured first before the question can be sent. All other question types can be sent immediately after capturing the screen.
  • The True/False and Multiple Choice types require you to specify the correct answers at the end of each quiz.

 

via Quiz Collection 

Load a question already prepared and saved in myViewBoard Hub. These are helpful when planning pre-class activities, or when you just want to reuse questions. You can send up to 20 questions as one set.

 

  1. Click Quiz Collection to open a new window. 
     
  2. On the new window: 
    1. Review your Hub folders and all your saved questions.
    2. Filter by standard, type, or time to find a question for the current quiz. 
       
  3. Perform one of the following:
    1. Select one question and send to the class, or
    2. Select and dispatch up to 20 questions as one set.
