Tools available
Get to know the Magic Box tools available across Whiteboard versions. Remember you must be signed in with your myViewBoard account to access some features, and in some cases, a Pro or Premium account is required.
Windows
File1 | Press to access files from your local or cloud storage, such as Google Drive or Microsoft OneDrive. |
Sticky Notes1 | Add Sticky Notes in various colors to the canvas, as well as draw and display text on the note. |
Tools1 | Access and incorporate in your lessons various tools such as clock, timer, compass, calculator, 3D dice, graph tool, and more. |
Document Camera1 | Use a device camera and insert the camera feed directly onto the canvas. (Device camera must be connected.) |
Originals | Access ViewSonic Originals resources, such as images and GIFs, and insert them directly onto the canvas. |
YouTube2 | Browse YouTube videos. Drag and drop the videos onto the canvas. Play in Present or Prepare Modes. |
Image Search2 | Safely search the web for images. Drag and drop search results onto the canvas. |
Online Widgets2 | Browse animated widgets in a variety of themes. |
Throw3 | Browse documents that participants (or you) have shared with the Whiteboard host session. Participants can do this via Whiteboard Portal or Companion app. |
Pop Quiz3 | Ask a question verbally or in written form, allowing participants to respond from their devices. |
Polls3 | Create questions in many formats, such as multiple choice, true or false, rating, free response, voting, or random draw. Questions and answers can be saved for future reference. |

Local Drive1 | Access files from your device and cloud storage. Press the local drive icon to access additional folders in your Android device: . Cloud storage icons will appear after the icons above once you have bound a cloud drive. |
